Fees and Rebates
Our Fees
Individual client sessions are charged at a rate of $205.00 per 50min session, and $270.00 for couple sessions. Where applicable relevant scheme fees are applied. Please note the recommended schedule of fees for a standard 45-60 minute consultation by the Australian Psychological Society is $280.00. Shannon Health chooses to charge a reduced rate. Please see below for additional details regarding rebate options. For comprehensive assessments including cognitive, functional and behavioural please contact Shannon Health to discuss your needs and a quote. Payment is due on day of consultation. A 50% cancellation fee applies to cancellations with <24 hours notice.
Private Health Funds
Depending on your private health care provider and policy you may be able to claim part of your fee through your private health insurance. Please contact your insurer for more information.
Mental Health Care Plan
Sessions are charged at a rate of $205.00. Clients that are referred with an eligible mental health care plan from their treating general practitioner will be able to claim a medicare rebate of $93.35 per psychology session.
NDIS
Shannon Health is a registered NDIS provider and as such can provide therapeutic supports for clients who are self, plan or NDIA managed utilsing funds from your or your child's NDIS plan. Fees are set as per the NDIS price guide.
Perinatal Counselling
Full fee for session is $205.00. Medicare rebates of may be available when referred by a general practitioner. Please contact your GP and request a referral for perinatal counselling and bring to your first session.
Workcover and Worksafe
Shannon Health is a registered treatment provider for both Workcover NSW: SIRA and Worksafe VIC. Eligible clients treatment will be billed directly to their insuring agent for payment. Fees are charged as per the relevant jurisdiction fee schedule.
